DALLAS-BASED BOOKKEEPING SERVICES FOR CEO MOMS WHO WANT
Clean books and a thriving business — without sacrificing the weekday picnics and backyard science lessons
We’re here to nurture the numbers and the mother behind them, so you can make big moves in your business while still being present for all the precious offline moments in your life.
AS SEEN AT
quick question:
You know what happens when your bookkeeper just so happens to *also* be that mom friend who gets it… right?
Sure, you’ll finally stop second-guessing your financial decisions and start actually enjoying the monthly read of your profit and loss statement.
But you’ll also feel fully validated in how much you’re juggling, never be judged for changing a blowout diaper mid-call, and have someone who’ll celebrate your little ones’ milestones as much as your business’s.
AND JUST SO WE’RE CLEAR:
We’re bringing that exact vibe to everything we do.
Hi, I’m Alex!
The Founder of Goodness Gracious Accounting, a mom who loves Jesus and Limoncello La Croix, and a total beginner at baking bread.
And if I can figure out how to knead a lump of sticky dough and not burn it in the oven, trust me — we can get you understanding your finances and confidently making strategic, numbers-backed moves in your business.
I founded GGA to be the place you come when you want your monthly bookkeeping reports delivered free of shame and full of grace — and, of course, wrapped in a little hype-girl energy.
We’re here to simplify the back end and empower you with financial insights so you can show up for what matters most — your mission, your family, and your faith.

10+ Years Experience
in corporate accounting and finance
HERE’S THE FULL FAITH-LED STORY:
2014-2015
Earned my Accounting degree and CPA license
Then started at a Big 4 accounting firm and, soon after, realized traditional accounting was not my calling. Time for a pivot!
2016
Started my 6-year role as a Financial Analyst at Amazon
Which gave me extremely valuable experience in data analytics and finance, plus a company-sponsored relocation to live in my dream state of Texas… but also handed me soul-crushing burnout.
2021
Left corporate without a plan (to my parents’ great dismay)
And by God’s grace, overcame my debilitating corporate burnout. Unsure what path to take next, I worked a few placeholder jobs while trying to rediscover my purpose in life.
no plan, just faith
2023
God gave me a wake-up call, and I got fired from a temporary job
Suddenly, I had absolute clarity that I was meant for something more — and through divine timing, I quickly realized what that something was: using my finance background to build a bookkeeping business.
2023-2024
Built Bookkeeping by Alex on the side of full-time work
(Work that I miraculously found 7 days after being fired!) Then, just months after I officially launched my bookkeeping business, I found out I was pregnant with our first baby.
2025
Went all in as the bookkeeper for CEO moms (while becoming one myself)
When my employer wouldn’t accommodate my nursing needs, I said “I’m out” and took Bookkeeping by Alex full-time with a baby on my hip and a dream on my heart.

AND NOW
Goodness Gracious Accounting was born, and the dream got even bigger
Everything we do at GGA is centered on empowering CEO moms to lead lives of purpose, peace, and confidence with clear numbers and simple systems to guide them.
